The Couple Whose Dream Boat Sank Has Raised Enough on GoFundMe to Buy Another Boat
If you haven’t heard about this couple yet, a 24-year-old woman named Nikki Walsh and her 26-year-old boyfriend Tanner Broadwell sold all of their stuff and bought a boat to sail around the world . . . and last week, it SANK two days into their trip.
Well, since their story went viral, they set up a GoFundMe . . . and they’ve already raised over $14,000. Their last boat cost $5,000 to buy and $5,000 more in repairs, so they’ve already got more than enough to get another boat and try again.
They don’t have a timeline on doing that yet, though . . . for now, they’re still trying to figure out how to get their first boat out of the water.
