Wendy’s Dropped a Rap Mixtape . . . and It’s Shockingly Good?
So a while back, someone at a Wendy’s marketing meeting apparently said, “Hey, what if we make a hip-hop mixtape?” Because they actually did it . . .
Wendy’s dropped its mixtape “We Beefin?” on Friday and, against all odds, it is NOT terrible. Some people might say it’s actually good. It’s clearly well-made, with professional beats and production . . . and rap talent.
The tracks all feature a female rapper . . . who’s supposed to be Wendy.
Let’s put it this way: It sounds just like so much of the hip-hop you hear today. Which is either a compliment to Wendy’s, or a bad sign for rap. The reality is probably somewhere in the middle.
The mixtape has five tracks that focus on two things: Wendy’s food, and their superiority over other fast food burger joints. And it’s getting high praise on social media. So . . . yeah. This is life now.

Forget Chicken and Waffles: Red Lobster Is About to Sell Lobster and Waffles
The combo of chicken and waffles got super trendy a few years back. So now it’s OLD NEWS. But that’s okay because somehow, Red Lobster just found a way to beat it.
They just announced they’re going to start selling a LOBSTER and waffles combo. The lobster is deep fried . . . the waffles are made with their famous Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix . . . and you put syrup on top of all of it.
I’m not sure if that sounds good or horrible, but either way, it’s on sale starting today for a limited time. But they’re definitely not giving it away . . . it should run you around $20.
Man Stuffs Fish Down Pants
The Palm Beach Post claims the Clearwater, Florida police recently arrested Cruz Garcia Jr for stealing exotic fish from a pet store. His accomplice, Crystal Dixon, distracted a clerk before he stuffed the fish down the front of his pants and left the store. An employee got Garcia’s license plate number before giving it to the police. Officers tracked Garcia down before charging him with theft. The fish were not recovered
