Jack the donkey and Diane the emu were saved by the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue after their owner disappeared.
The pair soon went viral on social media due to their unique bond. They love to snuggle and sleep together and get anxious when they get separated.

Their bond might be 100% adorable, but it also made the pair difficult to adopt out. There are plenty of homes that want to adopt a donkey. There are plenty of homes that want to adopt an emu. But finding a home that could take both of them was a little more challenging.
That’s when The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan got involved.

Morgan, who plays Negan on TWD, adopted Jack and Diane yesterday and brought them to his farm in New York.
