Ariana Grande posted a message to fans who may be feeling anxiety as the anniversary of the Manchester bombing draws near this weekend.
“I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to everyone that is feeling the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary coming up this week,” Grande wrote on Instagram.
“Not a day goes by that this doesn’t affect you and all of us still. I will be thinking of you all week and weekend. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you always,” wrote Ariana Grande.
The 2017 bombing was the work of 22-year-old Salman Abedi, 23 people died and 139 were injured. Ariana returned to Manchester for a Pride event, she was welcomed by hundreds of fans and emotionally took the stage to perform her song, “One Last Time.”
