Grande’s New Album Will be More of a Personal Album

Ariana Grande released the track lengths for her songs on her upcoming album, Sweetener. According to PopCrush, the song “Get Well Soon” has a special connection to the Manchester attack.

“Get Well Soon” is 5 minutes and 22 seconds long, the date of the Manchester attacks on May 22, 2017.

22 is also the number of victims who died as a result of the attack. Grande has expressed that Sweetener would be a more personal album and that the song explains her physical reaction after the Manchester attack.

“When I got home from tour, I had really wild dizzy spells, this feeling like I couldn’t breathe,” she explained. “There were a couple of months straight where I felt so upside down,” said Grande.

Sweetener is available on Friday, August 17th.
