Blue Apron Will Give Employees Paid Time Off On Election Day 2020

If you work for the meal kit service Blue Apron you’ll be happy to know that on Election Day you’ll have the day off so that you can vote.

Oh, and did I mention that it’s a paid day off.  The company plans to not only pay the employees but to sweeten the pot employees will get help with voter registration, early voting, absentee ballots, and getting to the polls to vote.

All of this comes as part of the company’s new diversity program and inclusion program which comes at a good time after the recent problems at the polls during state primaries. Has your job changed any of its policies since the protests began?
