The top “how to” question

The top “how to” question was “how to make SLIME,” up from #4 in 2016.  The rest of the top five were, “how to make solar eclipse glasses” . . . “how to watch the eclipse” . . . “how to watch Mayweather vs. McGregor” . . . and “how to buy Bitcoin.”

How Long Are You Contagious After You’ve Been Sick?

Once you’re exposed to a virus, it usually takes 2 to 3 days to see Do you know how long you’re contagious for after you’ve been sick?  Or more importantly . . . how long you should avoid your friends and family after THEY’VE been sick?  Here’s what doctors have to say about it . . .

In general, it’s not safe to be around someone until at least 5 to 7 days after their symptoms started.  That’s when they’re the most contagious.  But even then, you’re not totally in the clear.

Sometimes you can still be contagious TWO WEEKS after your symptoms start.  And just because you feel better doesn’t mean you ARE better.

Unfortunately, most of us can’t just cut ourselves off from society for that long.  Especially around the holidays.

That’s why you need to wash your hands as much as possible.  And if you ARE sick, try to cough into your elbow instead of your hands.

And here’s an important point for when you do get sick.  Don’t immediately start blaming the LAST sick person you happened to be around.

When you’re exposed to a virus, it usually takes 2 to 3 days to develop symptoms.  So if you’re around a bunch of sick family members on Christmas and start sniffling the NEXT DAY, it’s probably not their fault.

Men’s Muscles, Height, and Leanness Account For 80% of Their Attractiveness

We’ve got a new study here today out of Australia that found a man’s MUSCLES are by far the most important factor in whether women find him attractive.

Some would say that’s disappointing news.  Not me.  Why?  Because it means that even if you’re horrifically UGLY, you can overcome it if you just hit the gym hard enough.

The researchers found that a man’s muscles account for 70% of his attractiveness.  How tall and how lean he is account for another 10%.

So overall, your strength, height, and body fat are responsible for 80% of your attractiveness.

Yes, your face barely even registered on the study.  In fact, the researchers found that classically handsome faces could make men LESS attractive.

For whatever reason, women preferred guys with softer features on muscular bodies . . . maybe because it suggests you’re a total package of being both strong AND sensitive.
