The Next Bachelor is on His Third Try at Love
It was announced Tuesday morning that Colton Underwood will be the next Bachelor. Underwood is a former NFL player who admitted he’s a virgin on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. He’s also appeared in this summer’s Bachelor In Paradise.
Underwood also previously dated U.S. Olympic Gymnast, Aly Raisman. During the announcement Underwood told Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan, “third time’s a charm”. He also confirmed he hopes to end his season of The Bachelor engaged. Since his debut on The Bachelorette, which is where he revealed that he’d previously dated former Bachelor contestant Tia Booth, many fans have wondered if he’s been on the show for the right reasons. Add in that he’s dated Raisman and was photographed with her at several high-profile events, it leads a lot of fans unhappy with the decision.
