Is it weird to stay friends with an ex’s family after you break up?
I was with my ex-boyfriend for two years, and one of the things I loved most about him was his family. They’re really amazing people.
We broke up a year ago, but I still talk to his mom and sister. In fact, his mom teaches my yoga class, and his sister and I go to lunch at least once a week.
We never really talk about my ex, but some of my friends have pointed out that it’s weird I’m still in contact with his family.
When you break up with someone, do you have to cut their family members out of your life too? Is it weird that I still hang out with my ex-boyfriend’s family?
