You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression…
I was meeting up with a woman for the first time a few nights ago, and it was a really promising date.
But just as I was driving off to meet her, I noticed my car had a flat tire. I didn’t want to be late, or show up dirty from changing a tire, so I called Uber. No big deal.
I ended up being about 10 minutes late, which was bad enough. But then she thought I didn’t have a car because I had to take an Uber.
The whole thing was awkward and weird, and I don’t think we’ll be seeing each other again.
But isn’t it normal to take an Uber to meet someone on a first date?
