If Only Ed Sheeran Didn’t Love Ketchup!
Ketchup – you put it on burgers and fries…maybe you put it on your steak and eggs. But, ketchup-flavored ice cream?!? You can blame Ed Sheeran.
Ed Sheeran fans know that the “Perfect” singer loves Heinz Ketchup. In fact, he loves it so much he has a Heinz tattoo on his bicep. Now a shop in Ireland called Gelati has created ketchup-flavored ice cream in honor of Sheeran.
The owner of the shop, Michael O’Dowd, said in an interview that creating the flavor was a challenge due to the sugar and salt in ketchup which both act as anti-freezing agents.
Ed Sheeran has yet to stop by their shop and try the new flavor.
