A few weeks ago, our blogger, Sara No H and I took the Ugly Location Challenge.
We went to the Michael’s craft store in Sugar House and took photos in their floral section. You can see my in the Instagram gallery below.
Sara and I were pretty nervous taking photos in the store. We hadn’t called ahead and we never asked for permission. The two of us live by the “ask for forgiveness instead of permission” philosophy. In other words, we have bad manners. We were also worried that Michael’s wouldn’t appreciate us calling their store an “ugly location.”
But we did all that worrying for nothing. Yesterday, Michael’s commented on my Instagram post with the funniest possible response.
I learned two things:
1. They’re not mad at us.
2. Whoever runs the Michael’s Instagram account is way funnier than either of us could ever be.
