Bad tippers, either you know one, or you are one…
I’m dating a lawyer who makes an obscene amount of money. We’ve been going out for about a month.
He’s been doing really nice things for me like taking me out to fancy dinners . . . ordering bottles of expensive wine . . . and we’ve already taken a trip together.
The other night we went to a hip restaurant in town, and the food definitely wasn’t cheap. But when he paid, I looked at his tip on the $200 bill . . . I was stunned.
He left the server $15. That’s it. It was less than an 8% tip and it was one of the most amazing meals of my life.
I don’t know what to do. Should I continue seeing this guy? Could you keep dating someone if you know they’re a bad tipper?
