First Akon and now Nicki Minaj.
Nicki is the latest artist to work with Tekashi 6ix9ine and fans are not pleased. Their single, Trollz, comes out this Friday. Nicki Minaj tweeted that some of the proceeds will go to the Bail Project, Inc to provide free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can not afford to pay bail.
Fans did not seem to care about the cause nor were they pleased with Nicki for collaborating with Tekashi. Some of the comments included, “you’re black and collaborating with a racist who constantly uses the n-word yet you’re donating proceeds of this song to #BlackLivesMatter–Make it make sense.”
Another person wrote, “Cardi would’ve never worked with a snitch.”
Someone else wrote, “he literally dragged someone you consider your sister some weeks ago.” This is referring to Ariana Grande when she beat Tekashi out of the #1 spot on the Billboard HOT 100.
