Kidder Is Best Known For Playing Lois Lane Opposite Christopher Reeves
The actress passed away in her sleep on Sunday at her home in Livingston, Montana according to her publicist.
She was best known for playing the character Lois Lane in the original Superman movies with Christopher Reeves from 1978 -1987. Kidder, born in Canada, got her start in small Canadian films before working with Gene Wilder and Robert Redford in various films.
Kidder later worked on television on shows like “Smallville”, “Brothers & Sisters” and “The L Word”.
