Rihanna posted a tribute to her late grandmother who passed away eight years ago.
“8 years. we miss you more each year,” Rihanna captioned a picture of her grandmother, Clara on Tuesday. (June 30)
After her passing in 2012 Rihanna founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in her and her grandfather, Lionel’s honor. The foundation “supports and funds groundbreaking and effective education, health and emergency response programs around the world,” according to the foundation website.
The passing of Clara was a great loss for Rihanna, after her passing Rihanna posted, “Words can’t explain the essence of her beauty. You and you alone no other one. Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you.”
