Should Married Couples Have Access to Each Other’s E-Mails?

Should married couples share everything or are you still entitled to privacy within your marriage?

My fiance and I had a fight the other night because I asked for his email passwords. He refused to give them to me, which made me think that he may be doing something bad behind my back.

I told him now that we are getting married we should be able to share everything! He disagreed.

Should married couples have access to each other’s emails?

Is my fiance trying to hide something from me? If he has nothing to hide then he shouldn’t have any problem giving me his passwords!

Am I wrong or right for wanting to see his emails?

What do you think? If you refuse to give a password to your SO, is it because you’re hiding something?
