Some Super Bowl Ads Sold for a Record $7 Million

Ads for Super Bowl 56 are sold out, and some of them went for a record $7 MILLION.  Anything over $6 million would have been a record, so it’s safe to say that NBC is cleaning up.

It’s a no-brainer for advertisers.  There’s nothing else on “regular” TV that guarantees you that many eyeballs.  In addition to NBC, viewers on Telemundo, Peacock, and other streaming services will also see the ads.

And a new poll shows that 61% of viewers are AT LEAST as interested in the commercials as they are in the game.  Broken down by gender, 72% of women and 50% of men feel that way.

Speaking of Super Bowl ads, Nissan released  theirs yesterday.  It features Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara from “Schitt’s Creek”, along with Marvel stars Dave BautistaBrie Larson, and Danai Gurira.

And Avocados from Mexico posted a teaser for their commercial with Andy Richter
