Taylor Swift Is About To Make History

Taylor Swift stands to make music business history. Come November, the music superstar will be able to sign a new record deal for the first time since she was 15.

Taylor’s now 28 and a music powerhouse. She’s signed to indie Big Machine Records, and is free to negotiate with rival companies, but can’t sign anything until November. A return to Big Machine is a possibility too. Some business insiders believe that her deal could demand $20 million per album!  “If she’s seeking to break financial records and extend with a major, she could have the biggest artist deal of the century,” says Doug Davis, a top music business lawyer.
