Taylor Swift, Oprah, and Jennifer Lopez will host a telecast prior to the mega “One World Together at Home” Coronavirus global event on Saturday. (April 18)
The telecast will recognize those fighting on the frontlines against COVID-19. Afterward, a six-hour streaming event will feature sports stars, actors, singers and social media influencers.
The “One World Together at Home” event will feature stories from medical workers, music and comedy. All appearances will be made virtually due to social distancing guidelines.
The WHO and Global Citizens, an advocacy group, organized the event with Lady Gaga making the official announcement last week. Big names such as Celine Dion, Billie Eilish, John Legend, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Chris Martin, Andrea Bocelli, and Michael Buble will all participate.
