32% of people say they didn’t make any New Year’s resolutions for 2018, according to a new survey.
I’m not sure why there is this growing hate for us to make changes in our lives! I love New Years, it’s a chance for us to take a look at our life and see what we can do to make better choices.
Here are the ten most common resolutions people are making this year . . .
1. Eat better 37% of people made it their New Year’s resolution.
2. Exercise more 37%.
3. Spend less money 37%.
4. Take better care of themselves, like getting more sleep 24%.
5. Read more books 18%.
6. Learn a new skill 15%.
7. Get a new job 14%.
8. Make new friends 13%.
9. Get a new hobby 13%.
10. Focus more on their appearance 12%.
I feel like there is a common theme among these (and in my own). It’s about doing more to feel better about yourself! A lot of this can be accomplished through diet and exercise. It can be as easy as going for a nice walk (I mean…we don’t have any snow yet) or joining a Yoga class. With diet, I’m trying the Whole 30! Pray for me…
Part of the diet is eating a lot of eggs. This made me nervous until I started doing my own research. I learned that I just needed to find a Non-GMO Organic Cage-free egg, which I did. Since I like to buy local, I went with Oakdell eggs.
I’m Day 1 into my plan, so there’s still a journey ahead. But I’ll be your support if you’ll be mine!
