A lot of people are upset that TIM ALLEN didn’t do Buzz’s voice in the new “Lightyear”. But Tim doesn’t seem all that bothered.
In an interview with “Extra”, he said, quote, “I’ve stayed out of this because . . . the brass that did the first four movies is not this. It’s a whole new team that really had nothing to do with the first movies.”
He added, quote, “There’s really no ‘Toy Story’ Buzz without Woody . . . It’s a wonderful story, it just doesn’t seem to have any connection to the toy. It has no relationship to Buzz.”
But he also said he wished there WAS more of a connection.
