1.) Drinking Water
This is at the top of the list for a reason. Maybe not 8 glasses a day but staying hydrated is key. Experts say that a good way to know if you’re hydrated is by checking your urine. If it’s a pale yellow, you’re all good. Anything darker than that you should drink more water.
2.) Eating Colorful Fruits and Veggies
You should be eating these with every meal. Besides being made of 90 percent water, Fruits and Veggies are packed with fiber that helps you stay full for a longer period of time.
3.) Cut back on Drinking
Your body is in recovery mode, so cutting back on alcohol is important. It’s empty calories. So for the most part, health guidelines suggest two drinks for men and one drink per day for women.
4.) Taking a Walk
Taking a walk or doing some sort of light exercise gets your blood moving. It’s scientifically proven that taking a walk or any sort of light exercise helps your physical and emotional state. The sight of greenery and natural light are all health benefits as well.
