The video is being hailed as “brilliant” and “mesmerizing”! But it’s not from some mega-cool artist…it’s from a pair of school administrators in Michigan.
The video has been viewed more than 800,000 times since it was posted on Monday. As you may know, most of the country is in a Polar Vortex with temperatures dropping to subzero and snow disrupting school schedules.
Superintendent Ben Mainka and Principal Jim Kitchen go into their unique version of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” to notify teachers, parents, and students that school has been canceled.
