We are going to have to wait a bit longer to see WILL SMITH on the screen POST-SLAP. His movie “Emancipation” with Apple was supposed to come out this fall, but it’s been pushed to 2023.
It was expected to be Apple’s next award-winning film after the success of “CODA”. Earlier this year an unnamed filmmaker even suggested it could bring Will “back-to-back” Oscar wins.
Apparently, the release date delay isn’t totally because of Will. The movie is still in post-production and might not even be ready for the fall regardless.
The movie also includes BEN FOSTER from “The Survivor”. It’s about a runaway slave.
