Your 9:30 Feel Good

Leigh Otis, of Northridge High School’s quick action saved the life of a 17-year-old boy.

The students were lifting weights and training when the boy stepped away to get some water and collapsed. The students called for their trainer Leigh Otis. She ran to the boy and began CPR sending someone to get the portable Defibrillator. She gave him just one shock and he opened his eyes.

Paramedics say Leigh’s actions without a doubt saved the boys life. He’s recovering at Primary Children’s hospital, while doctors try to figure out why his heart stopped in the first place.
