Joe DeMarco is a former contractor, with a love of flying. He’s had his pilot’s license since he was 18, and he’s always looking for an excuse to fly. Then he realized he could save lives by flying sick kids to specialty hospitals that can provide the best care. Many sick children can’t take commercial flights, or use public transportation due to immune system issues. There are private jets you can hire, if you have $15,000, but Joe won’t accept a dime.
