Jamming Needles Into a Voodoo Doll of Your Boss Will Help You Like Your Job

Want to be happier at your job?  It’s easy.  Just PHYSICALLY TORTURE your boss.

Symbolically.  I forgot to say symbolically.  That’s kind of an important part of this.

According to a new study of 229 people in the U.S. and Canada, when employees got VOODOO DOLLS of their bosses . . . and jammed needles into them . . . it actually made them feel less resentful about their jobs.

And afterwards, the quality of their work went up too.

The researchers say, quote, “As weird as it sounds, we found a simple and harmless symbolic act of retaliation can make people feel like they’re getting even and restoring their sense of fairness.”

And if you’re worried about casually dabbling in the BLACK ARTS with voodoo, they say other things could work too . . . like throwing darts at a picture of your boss’s face on a dartboar

Body Language Mistakes That Can Cost You the Job

  2. Failing to smile: 39 percent
  3. Playing with something on the table: 33 percent
  4. Having bad posture: 30 percent
  5. Fidgeting too much in their seats: 30 percent
  6. Crossing their arms over their chests: 29 percent
  7. Playing with their hair or touching their faces: 27 percent
  8. Having a weak handshake: 21 percent
  9. Using too many hand gestures: 11 percent
  10. Having a handshake that was too strong: 7 percent

The Perfect Bedtime Routine Includes These Six Steps

If you have trouble adjusting to Daylight Savings this week, you might want to start trying to PREPARE your body for sleep at night.

Two sleep experts recently came up with a SIX-STEP routine that takes about 30 minutes.  That’s how long they say you need to relax and mentally prepare for bed.  Here are the six steps, which take about five minutes each . . .

1.  30 minutes before bed . . . make a to-do list for the next day.  Just jot stuff down, so you don’t lie in bed thinking about it.

2.  25 minutes before bed . . . stop using all electronics.  That includes your phone, computer, and TV.  The blue light they give off tricks your body into staying awake, because your brain thinks it’s daylight.

3.  20 minutes before bed . . . brush your teeth.  It’s also the best time to take off make-up and wash your face.  Doing it right before bed can wake you up.

4.  15 minutes before bed . . . take a quick shower.  And make sure it’s a HOT shower.

5.  10 minutes before bed . . . use the bathroom.  A recent study found 42% of people don’t get enough sleep, because they have to get up and go in the middle of the night.

6.  5 minutes before bed . . . stop talking.  Let your brain start to wind down.  Then once you get in bed, your body should be ready to fall asleep.
