The Most Common Distractions When We’re Driving

I’m about to tell you about distractions while you drive, so pay attention.  And yes, I get the irony of that.

A new survey found the most common distractions for people when they’re driving.

And the four most common ones are:  Eating or drinking, 45% . . . phone calls, 44% . . . adjusting the radio, 43%, so don’t touch that dial . . . and texting, 38%.

A Woman Blames Her Car Accident on Bigfoot

You know, I was fine with Bigfoot when he was just lumbering around the woods and terrorizing squirrels.  But if he’s making people’s car insurance rates go up, THEN he and I are gonna have a problem.

A 50-year-old woman from Tensed, Idaho crashed her car into a deer on Wednesday.

And when the cops got there, she told them what happened:  She saw Bigfoot.

Apparently as she was driving, she saw Bigfoot chasing some deer on the side of the road.  And when she looked in her rearview mirror to watch him, she took her eyes off the road, and hit the deer.

Sadly, the only description the woman could give was that Bigfoot was about seven or eight feet tall.  And . . . shockingly . . . the cops weren’t able to track him down.

As far as we know, she wasn’t hurt in the crash.  We don’t know about the deer though . . . the deer she hit OR the ones Bigfoot was stalking.

A New Hotline Will Play You Weird and Random Sounds to Help You Fall Asleep

If you’re having trouble sleeping, what better solution is there than listening to Steve Urkel sing you a lullaby?

The mattress company Casper just created a free hotline for people who can’t sleep.  The number is 1-888-890-2040.  And when you call, you can pick one of nine different random sounds that, they say, will help you out.

Those sounds are:  The ocean . . . wind chimes . . . sounds of the ’90s . . . a hypnosis treatment . . . a motivational speech . . . a grandma who misses you . . . the history of the cocktail wiener . . . Steve Urkel singing a lullaby . . . and a conference call.
