1/22 – B.o.B.: B.o.B aka Bobby Ray, introduced himself to the world in 2006 with his mixtape Cloud 9, and has since traveled the world, topped the charts and broken invisible barriers that the music world didn’t know existed. With well-balanced offering of genre-defying songs and a world view to match, B.o.B proves that living with your head in the clouds, isn’t such a bad thing after all. 1/25 – Diplo: Wesley Pentz, better known as Diplo, is unquestionably one of the most dynamic forces in music today. He is as much an international brand (tastemaker, spokesman, curator) as he is a musician/DJ/producer. Year after year he’s proven himself to be an ubiquitous cultural figure, consistently bridging high and low, mainstream and underground, with remarkable tact and reverence. 1/26 – Lil Jon: Lil Jon made a name for himself with the music group he fronted, East Side Boyz, and began as a club DJ before the time came for him to establish his solo career in the industry. Jermaine Dupri invited him to come work for So So Def Records in 1993 and named him the Executive Vice President of A&R from ’93 – ’00. While working on his label duties, he added radio host to his resume, hosted a reggae show on the Atlanta radio sation V103, and also remixed and produced tracks for such acclaimed artists as Too Short, Xscape, Total, Usher, 112 and Whitney Houston just to name a few. 1/27 – Lindsey Stirling: Lindsey Stirling is one of the biggest artist development breakthrough stories in recent years. 1/28 – Portugal. The Man.: It was Spring 2012, and John Gourley—frontman of Portugal. The Man—found himself in New York City about to ring the bell at Danger Mouse’s apartment–a long way from his current home in Portland, and farther still from his real home in Alaska. Six full-length albums in six years, nonstop touring, a stint with The Black Keys and festival stops at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza—up until this moment, Portugal.  1/29 – Knife Party: By now, Knife Party is a name with which anyone with even a passing interest in electronic music will be familiar. In the years since the mysterious duo Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen emerged, their singular approach and ferocious productions have driven their rapid ascent through dance music’s ranks from unknown entity to dance floor conquering scene leaders, and festival headliners.
