Ariana Grande Tears Up Over The Manchester Terror Attacks While Explaining Song “Get Well Soon”

While Ariana discussed her new song “Get Well Soon” with Beats 1 radio personality Ebro Darden, the “Sweeter” singer teared up as she described that the song was written, “about just wanting to give everyone a hug, musically.”

Ariana fought back tears as she told Darden that she wants the song to help anyone suffering from mental illness. “There’s some dark s__ out there, man. And we just have to be there for each other as much as we can. ‘Cause you never f____ know, you know? So, I wanted to do something to make people feel good and less alone,” said Ariana.

Ariana went on to say that the song was about personal demons and anxiety and the importance of mental health, “I feel like the lyrics can be kind of corny when I talk about wanting to hug you and stuff, but I really do. I don’t know. People gotta be nicer.”
