Taylor Swift Donated $15,000 to Firefighter Who Rescued his Own Family

Taylor Swift donated $15,000 to a GoFundMe campaign to benefit Amber Lynn and Jonathan “Bear” Van Riper, a 28-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son who were injured in a car crash Saturday in Huntsville, Texas, outside of Houston. When a fireman from Texas received a call on Saturday about coming to the rescue for the victims of a head-on car collision, he raced to the scene. But the two people who were badly injured in the accident were not just ordinary citizens, they were his wife and his 7-year-old son. On Thursday, friends of the family noticed that a large donation to the family’s GoFundMe page, but no other than Taylor Swift. LeBron James Accidently Flashed NBA Fans on Live TV

Before Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night, ABC’s camera came in close on the Cleveland Cavaliers just as Lebron James was making an “adjustment” to his uniform, and may have inadvertently showed America his junk. It happened in the blink of an eye, so there’s no way you would have seen anything if you were watching it live. But thanks to the wonders of slow motion and freeze frame, it does indeed look like he showed a little too much. Get more here.

Orange Is The New Black Season 3 is Streaming NOW

The latest series of the hugely popular Netflix prison drama Orange Is the New Black has launched earlier than expected. Six hours ahead of schedule, the online channel’s boss Reed Hastings gave the thumbs-up to release the show at a packed convention in New York. The move came during a panel discussion with the cast of the show at OrangeCon, an event dedicated to fans of the popular US drama. Uzo Aduba, who plays Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren, stood up at the start of the discussion and asked Hastings, via video call, for something special to kick off the event. Her suggestion that the entire run of the new series be launched was greeted with loud cheers in the auditorium, and Hastings duly obliged. Get more here.

‘Mean Girls’ The Game is Coming to Your Phone

There is a Mean Girls video game coming. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it will be released later this year and follow a choose-your-own adventure format. That means you’ll “enroll” at North Shore High School and find yourself smack in the middle of Regina, Karen, Gretchen and their girl gang with the ability to manipulate the plot based on your decisions. It’s terrifying and awesome at the same time. The game was created with close input from Paramount to make everything as close to the movie as possible. Get more here.

Mariah Carey will be the new face of “Game of War: Fire Age.” producers of the mobile game have inked a 7-figure deal with Mariah, who replaces Kate Upton, in which the singer will shoot a 30-second commercial. Mariah will do several other promotional shoots for the game, but the main thing is the commercial.’Game of War’ is a phenomenon, raking in $1 million a day. one of the big selling points is that Mariah’s music will be part of the spot. ‘Saved By The Bell’ Star Lark Voorhies Got Married

Lark Voorhies snuck off to Las Vegas and tied the knot with a guy she hasn’t known very ong. She married Jimmy Green, a music engineer she met on Facebook a year ago. Green says he and Lark have already had 2 weddings, and they’re not done yet. He says they had a commitment ceremony on April 1, and then a Vegas chapel ceremony (complete with marriage license) on April 30. They’re also planning a big wedding next year with friends and family. Green says they’ve never lived together, and their house hunting now. Get more here.
