Ed Sheeran Surprised a 13-Year-Old Fan With an Impromptu Duet

It all went down at the West Edmonton Mall, where Sydney Bourbeau, was performing as part of a celebration concert for Play for Pets, she was in the middle of singing Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud” when a surprise guest popped up on stage. “I had just finished taking my microphone out of the stand, so I thought someone was just coming up to grab the stand or fix something”, Bourbeau laughs. “I realized it was him after he came up the stairs on the stage, and I freaked! He came over and hugged me and I wanted to just cry and talk to him, but I realized he wanted to come sing his song with me!” Ed’s manager contacted Sydney and gave her and some friends front row center tickets. The Rock Sideswiped a Parked Truck, and the Guy Didn’t Make Him Pay, Because He’s The Rock

It’s good to be The Rock.  Dwayne Johnson was driving to a movie set in the Boston area recently, when he sideswiped a parked pickup truck, knocking its side-view mirror off. So he turned around and went back, and the owner of the truck came out to see what happened. In an Instagram post that included a picture of himself with his arm around the guy, The Rock says he apologized and offered to exchange information.  Then the man recognized him and said, quote, “Wow, this is gonna be an awesome story!” He adds, quote, “I started belly laughing at that, then he started laughing and before you know it we’re both standing in the middle of the street pointing to his mirror and laughing like two ol’ crazy buddies.” The Rock checked back with the man a few days later, and he refused to take any money.  He told The Rock he fixed the damage himself. Here’s a fun story to start your week off… I’m driving to set in my pick up truck – music blasting – I’m singing away like I’m having a one man party in my truck – then I hear a loud BANG. What the hell..? Look in my rear view and see I sideswiped another pick up that was parked in the street and destroyed the side mirror. First thing I thought was, “Aw shit.. someone’s not gonna be happy..”. I flipped a U-turn and drove back to scene. Just as I got out of my truck a guy was walking across the street to his truck. I said “Sir, is this your truck?”. He stopped and stared at me for a good 5 seconds, looked around his neighborhood, looked back at me and “Yes it is. Why?”. I said “Well, sorry to tell ya I sideswiped it and knocked the hell outta your mirror and may have done even more damage. You give me your info and I’ll leave you mine and I’ll take care of everything”. He stared at me again, cocked his head sideways and said..”Uhhh.. Are you The Rock?”. I said “Yup”. He broke out into a huge smile and said “Wow, this is gonna be an awesome story!”. I started belly laughing at that, then he started laughing and before you know it we’re both standing in the middle of the street pointing to his mirror and laughing like two ol’ crazy buddies. I checked back in with him a few days later and he refused to accept any money and said he fixed the damage himself. Want to thank Mr. Audie Bridges of Wakefield, Mass. for being so cool about the whole thing. Life is funny cause you never know who you’re gonna run into… and sure as hell never know who’s truck you’re gonna sideswipe while driving to work.

You Can Now Use Waze with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Voice

Beginning this week, you can have “The Terminator” voice on your Waze GPS app.  And it really was recorded by Arnold Schwarzenegge.  It’s a promotion for the upcoming movie “Terminator: Genisys”, which comes out July 1st.  But it’s still pretty cool. The feature won’t be permanent, but it’ll last until at least mid-July. Get more here.

Smash Mouth singer flips out at Taste of Fort Collins

Smash Mouth’s lead vocalist Steve Harwell didn’t take kindly to pieces of bread being thrown at him on Sunday night during the finale for Taste of Fort Collins. Harwell caused quite a stir during the band’s performance, first yelling profanities at the crowd, then being subdued by a security guard and finally walking off the stage ahead of the encore. He lost his temper when concert attendees started throwing slices of bread in the air. A few pieces reportedly landed on the stage. Loaves of bread were being given away for free at one of the Taste of Fort Collins vendor booths. Fans started booing as Harwell spat out a string of insults. ‘Married at First Sight’ Couple Death Threats

Jessica Castro just got a restraining order against Ryan De Nino, the husband she met on the show “Married at First Sight,” claiming he had been threatening and menacing, but the last straw was when he told her, “I plan on killing you and your family.” The couple married in December, not having known each other even for a day. Producers of the A&E reality show paired them after psychological testing for compatibility. The show chronicled the marriage for 6 weeks, and they’ve been living privately ever since, but not without drama. They reportedly had blow out fights and alleged substance abuse.The restraining order was granted last Friday and requires Ryan to stay clear of Jessica and her family. Get more here.

Lark Voorhies’ New Hubby is a Gang Member

“Saved by the Bell” star Lark Voorhies’ new husband is seriously bad news, as in … he’s a member of the Bloods who’s been threatening his mother-in-law — this according to Lark’s mother. Patricia Voorhies filed a restraining order against Jimmy Green, saying he throws gang signs at her while arguing with her, and it sounds like they argue a lot because he’s shacking up with Lark under Mom’s roof. Lark’s mom also points out Lark is mentally and emotionally fragile and under doctors’ care.Patricia was granted a temporary restraining order to keep Jimmy 100 yards away from her and her home.  TMZ talked to Green, who admits being a Blood, but says he means Patricia no harm and thinks she is just trying to control every aspect of Lark’s life.
