Britney Spears Will Be on the VMA’s

E! News confirms that Britney Spears will be making an appearance at the VMAs on Sunday. The cat was out of the bag when producers included Britney in the seating chart. Sources say Britney will be presenting the first award of the night. The VMAs are being hosted by Miley Cyrus and will include performances by Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots. Kanye West will be honored with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, an award that Spears herself won in 2011. The Latest on the “Dancing with the Stars” Cast

Late last night, Chaka Khan confirmed that she’ll be on “Dancing with the Stars” this season. Alexa Vega is also onboard, along with her husband Carlos Pena Jr. They’re both former child stars, Alexa played Carmen in the “Spy Kids” movies. Carlos was on the Nickelodeon show “Big Time Rush”. Vine star Hayes Grier has also been confirmed.

  

E! Online says Kim Zolciak of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fame is also dancing, but she hasn’t been confirmed. Get more here.

Taylor Swift Brought Lisa Kudrow Onstage to Sing “Smelly Cat”

By now, Taylor Swift has brought just about every celebrity on the planet onstage during her “1989” tour. But on Wednesday night at the Staples Center, she elevated it to another level. Taylor was joined by Lisa Kudrow for a duet of “Smelly Cat” from “Friends”.

After the show, Lisa Tweeted, quote, “So Taylor Swift is THE best person I’ve ever met.  That was fun.  Thanks Taylor.”

 


Judge Joe Brown Held in Contempt of Court

Famous TV Courtroom show host, Joe Brown, is in jail today after receiving a 5 day sentence in 2014. The Judge was representing a client in a custody case when the sentence was issued. Apparently Joe wasn’t happy with the Judge and was very verbal about his dissatisfaction. The Judge initially gave Joe 24 hours, but Joe just kept screaming, digging himself deeper and deeper. By the end of the outburst, Joe had earned 5 days in jail for Contempt of Court. The sentence was delayed, and then delayed again, and is now finally being served, over a year after it was issued.
