A Bill Murray Christmas Special is Coming to Netflix
Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola are doing an extravagant, star-studded Christmas special for Netflix. There’s no word on what kind of special this will be, sketch, musical, talk? But the celebrities involved include George Clooney, Chris Rock, MIley Cyrus, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, Paul Shaffer, and the band Phoenix. Scott Disick Has Entered Rehab Again
Scott Disick has sought help for his addiction yet again. He checked in to Cliffside Malibu, a luxury drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Sources say it was an ultimatum from Kourtney about being able to see their kids that inspired him to finally take rehab seriously. Scott checked into Cliffside before Lamar Odom’s overdose and likely doesn’t know what happened. At this point it could help, but it could also hinder his progress. The rumor is that Kourtney is seeking full custody of their three children, due to Scott’s drug problem. A Man Accused of Murder Claims He Was “Being Possessed By Jay Z”
There’s a man in Hawaii who’s on trial for killing his landlord, and he has a brilliant defense. He says he wasn’t himself, because he was “possessed by Jay Z at the time.” According to the “Hawaii Tribune-Herald”, the man thinks that the authorities should, quote, “put Jay Z in prison for the murder, and put other Illuminati who’ve been attacking me in prison, too.” Obviously, this guy is crazy, and a psychologist thinks it’s legit, and he isn’t just angling for an insanity defense. Although, I would love to be able to understand why this guy thinks Jay Z would’ve wanted his landlord dead. Get more here.
The CW Has Canceled “America’s Next Top Model”
“America’s Next Top Model” has been canceled. The show will end this year, after 12 years and 22 seasons. The ratings have been sinking for a while now, and it sounds like it was the network’s decision. But Tyra Banks is pretending like it was her call. On Instagram, she said, quote, “Thinking [this] should be our last cycle. Yeah, I truly believe it’s time. Our diehard fans know we’ve expanded the definition of beauty, “Presented what Flawsome is, tooched and booched and boom boom boomed, shown the world how to show their neck, rocked couture, catalogue, commercial poses, and have traveled around the globe and back again. Yeah, it’s time.” Cycle 22 premiered in August. The show’s final episode is currently scheduled for December 4th. Get more here.
DeAngelo Williams is Donating Mammograms in Honor of His Mother
DeAngelo Williams of the Pittsburgh Steelers was denied permission to wear pink all season in honor of his mother, who died of breast cancer. But he’s still fighting for the cause. He’s paying for mammograms for 53 women, because his mother was 53 when she died. He’s also dyed his hair pink, and pledged to where pink for the rest of his career. What a stand-up guy.
