Netflix Is Reviving “Gilmore Girls”

America endured “Gilmore Girls” through 153 episodes, seven seasons, two networks, and almost the entire George W. Bush presidency, but apparently, that wasn’t enough. Netflix is reviving the show for a limited time. There will be four 90-minute episodes, which are being described as “mini-movies.” The original creator and executive producer are back on-board, and negotiations with the cast have started. No one is locked in yet, but Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson are all expected back. However, Melissa McCarthy is not. This plan allows the creator to wrap up the show like she wanted to, since she left before the final season in a contract dispute. Get more here.

Democratic Candidate Martin O’Malley Sang “Bad Blood” on The View

The Democratic candidate you’ve never heard of was on The View yesterday. Martin is trying to get out of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders’ shadow. Martin wanted to show how relate-able he is  by busting out his guitar and jamming with the ladies of The View. The song he picked was Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” He chose Taylor because Katy Perry is performing at a benefit concert for his “rival” Hillary Clinton. He’s not a bad singer… but do we really want to hear a politician singing Taylor Swift? Nope! Get more here.

Jaden Smith Isn’t Sure, But He Might Be as Revolutionary as Galileo

It’s not easy to be humble when you’re Jaden Smith. But God love him, he tries. In a new interview with “GQ” he says, quote, “I don’t think I’m as revolutionary as Galileo, but I don’t think I’m not as revolutionary as Galileo.” Oh, and just so you know, Jaden and his sister Willow are not crazy. They’re “scientists” and we are the experiment. He says, quote, “Everything for us is a scientific test upon humanity. And luckily we’re put in a position where we can affect large groups of human beings at one time.” And when they say ridiculous things, like that interview they gave last November where they rambled about “prana energy”, they’re just testing us. He says, quote, “That experiment, it went really, really well. We got to see how people reacted. And they actually ended up reacting exactly as we predicted beforehand that they would react.” Get more here.
