Kobe Bryant Announced He’s Retiring After This Season, in a Poem
There’s been a lot of talk that this could be Kobe Bryant’s final season. He’s 37 years old, he’s been hit with some serious injuries over the past few seasons, and frankly, he isn’t very good anymore. Well yesterday, Kobe confirmed he’s retiring after this season, and he did it by writing a love poem, to basketball. It includes the lines, quote, “This season is all I have left to give. My heart can take the pounding, my mind can handle the grind. “But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye. And that’s OK. I’m ready to let you go. I want you to know now, so we both can savor every moment we have left together. The good and the bad. We have given each other, all that we have.” Kobe has won five NBA championships, one league MVP award, two NBA Finals MVPs, two Olympic gold medals, two scoring titles, and was selected for 17 All-Star games. Chris Brown will Donate $1 of Every Album Sold to Charity
Chris Brown is putting out his new album “Royalty” on December 18th, it’s the one that’s named after his daughter. And for every copy he sells from now through the holidays, he’s donating a buck to charity. He says, quote, “The holidays are all about giving back, so from now until Christmas, if you order or pre-order the album, $1 of every album sold will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.” Get more here.

The Cast of Seinfeld Recorded In-Character Videos for a Sick Fan
“Seinfeld” fan Jim Calder had a rare form of Lung cancer, and his family knew he would likely not live to see his 67th Birthday; So they made a plan to make his final days happy ones. Jim’s son James and his wife came up with the idea to have friends and family wish Jim a happy birthday. “We immediately thought of his favorite TV show, ‘Seinfeld,'” James wrote. “We started planning how to pitch this to the ‘Seinfeld’ characters and started to reach out through published articles about the project, social media outreach and word of mouth. The ‘Seinfeld’ birthday project was born, but we really weren’t sure how and if it would flourish.” Jim passed away Nov. 7, and many of the sitcom’s stars brightened his final days with personalized videos and phone calls. Chris Martin Put Gwyneth Paltrow on Coldplay’s New Album
Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow may have consciously uncoupled, but that doesn’t mean they can’t hit the studio together. She sings on his new song “Everglow”, and it just premiered over the weekend. He says it’s about the positive aspects of, quote, “a relationship that’s finished, after you’ve been through the sadness of something, you also get this everglow.” The song is on the new Coldplay album, “A Head Full of Dreams”, which comes out on Friday. Mary-Kate Olsen’s Wedding Reception Featured “Bowls and Bowls of Cigarettes”
Mary-Kate Olsen married her older boyfriend Oliver Sarkozy on Friday, in front of about 50 guests in New York. Mary-Kate is 29, and Olivier is 46. He’s the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. According to the “New York Post”, decorations at the wedding reception included, quote, “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.” Get more here.
Anne Hathaway is Pregnant
Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her first child, and she’s been hiding it pretty well, because a source says she’s in her second trimester. Pictures of Anne out with her husband Adam Shulman in L.A. last week made it pretty obvious. They were also spotted in L.A. on Saturday. Tim Tebow is Single Again, Because of His Purity Vow?
If this isn’t dedication, I don’t know what is: Tim Tebow may have chosen Jesus over a former Miss USA. The “New York Daily News” says Olivia Culpo dumped Tim after two months of dating because he wouldn’t put out. A source says, quote, “He was really into her. He was sending her love letters and cute notes and professing his love for her. But she had to break up with him because she just couldn’t handle it. He still hits her up, but she just can’t deal with the sex thing. He’s pretty adamant about it.” Olivia previously dated Nick Jonas, and she may have been the reason he ditched his vow of purity.
