Rebel Wilson Says the Kardashians Are Superficial and Not Talented
Rebel Wilson took some shots at the Kardashians in an interview on Australian radio, and she didn’t hold back. She started off by saying that MTV asked her to present an award with Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the “VMAs” this year, but she wasn’t having it, because they promote a “superficial” image, which doesn’t jive with the self-acceptance message she tries to spread. Quote, “I said, ‘No, I’d rather do it by myself’ It’s not that you hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for. And they’re not famous for talent.” She added, quote, “I worked really hard to get where I’ve gotten to, Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape, and I just went to acting school.” Of course, she’s right. They may be good at running their business empire and promoting themselves now, but it’s hard to argue they did anything to earn their break, or that they’re doing anything good with their fame. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are Official
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t trying to fool the world anymore, probably because they weren’t fooling anyone in the first place. Gwen’s rep issued a statement yesterday saying, quote, “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.” This is obviously code for “Neither of them cheated on their now-estranged spouses.” Which may or may not be true. Even if they didn’t admit it, it would have blown up this morning anyway, because Gwen went to Nashville with Blake for the “CMA’s”. She wasn’t at the ceremony, but she hit up the after-parties with him. “CMA” hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood went after Blake in their monologue. Carrie said, quote, “We can’t ignore the breakup that really rocked our world, the one that’s on everybody’s mind. “Two people in this very room who we all know and love, Splitsville.” Then the camera panned to Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. But then Paisley added, quote, “On a completely unrelated topic, ‘Howdy Blake!'” They hit him a few more times, like when Brad said Blake did a duet with “Ashley Madison”, or when they sang a song about him using FarmersOnly.com. But they left his ex, Miranda Lambert, out of it. Get more here.

Serena Williams Chased Down a Guy Who Tried to Jack Her Phone
If you’re a thief, you might not want to steal something from Serena Williams, especially not right in front of her face. Serena was in a Chinese restaurant earlier this week, and some guy stood right next to her table. She thought it was suspicious, so she kept an eye on him. All of a sudden, he grabbed her phone and ran off. She sprung into action. She said, quote, “I jumped up, weaved my way in and out of the cozy restaurant, leaping over a chair or two, and chased him down, I was too fast, I was upon him in a flash! I kindly asked him if he ‘accidentally’ took the wrong phone. He stumbled on his words, and eventually he said, ‘Gosh, you know what I did! It was so confusing in there. I must have grabbed the wrong phone.'” “When I got back into the restaurant, I received a standing ovation. I was proud. I just showed every man in there I can stand up to bullies.” Serena told the story in a long post on Facebook, and included a picture of her head Photoshopped onto Supergirl’s body. Get more here.
