Adele Got Emotional During Her First Concert in Three Years
Adele’s first concert in three years last was on NBC last night. She warned her fans: ‘This is going to be on TV so don’t pick your nose.’ She sang Someone Like You, Hometown Glory, Skyfall and Hello. She finished the evening with “When We Were Young” and received a standing ovation. That broke the dam of tears, as she exclaimed ‘Oh, I’m so relieved, I’ve honestly missed you all so much,’ she said between sobs. ‘I know I’ve been quiet. I just wanted to comeback and surprise you,’ she added. ‘I thought I did quite well not crying until now. I’ll never forget it.’ Check out the adorable video below. Get more here.
Kim Kardashian Will Eat Her Last Placenta Soon
The next placenta Kim Kardashian chows down on will probably be her last, because she and Kanye West are more than likely done reproducing. We heard that Kim had a condition called placenta accreta, where the placenta grows too far into the uterus. It causes painful childbirth and can be life-threatening to both mother and child. She got it during both pregnancies, and doctors told her it’s almost a guarantee she’d get it again. So she and Kanye are quitting at two. Back to the placenta-eating: Kim did it with North, and now she’s doing it with Saint. She says, quote, “I’m having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form, not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW). “I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression. But then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression! So I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?” She adds, quote, “Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!” Get more here.

Serena Williams Is “Sport’s Illustrated’s” Sportsperson of the Year
Serena Williams has been named “Sports Illustrated’s” Sportsperson of the Year. It’s the first time since 1983 that a solo woman has had the distinction. In 2015, Serena won her 19th, 20th and 21st Grand Slam titles, defeated her sister Venus at the U.S. Open, and maintained her #1 ranking throughout the entire season for the fifth time in her career, despite several injuries. And yet, some people think “Sports Illustrated” should’ve gone with someone else. In a worldwide fan poll on their website, Serena came in 11th of 12, with just 0.9% of the vote. And when broken down by country, she was only #1 in the African country of Namibia. That said, the #1 spot in the poll wasn’t even a person, it was Triple Crown winner American Pharoah with 47% of the votes. The Kansas City Royals were second with 29% followed by soccer player Lionel Messi (6%), Stephen Curry (4%), and golfer Jordan Spieth (2.5%). Get more here.
