Rob Kardashian Diagnosed With Diabetes & Offered Spokesperson Job

Rob Kardashian was diagnosed with type two diabetes last month after being rushed to the hospital. Somehow a serious diagnosis has turned into a money making opportunity for Rob. A company called Five Hour Diabetic has asked him to be a spokesperson for the company. They specialize in making meal plans for people with diabetes, and they’ve offered $100,000, profit sharing, and a lifetime membership. There’s no word on if he will actually take the company up on the offer, as we know Rob isn’t a big fan of the spotlight. Get more here.

Does Janet Jackson Have Throat Cancer?

On Christmas Eve, Janet Jackson announced that she was postponing her Unbreakable Tour, because her doctors told her she had to have surgery soon. Well, the not-always-reliable Radar Online says she’s being tested for throat cancer. A source says, quote, “Doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal cords that could be serious. It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately.” In her original announcement, Janet did make it sound like this could be serious. She said, quote, “Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment.” Get more here.

“Girls” Is Ending After Season Six

E! Online reports that Lena Dunham’s HBO show “Girls” is coming to an end after a sixth season. But it’ll still be around for a while. Season Five doesn’t start until next month, so that means there are still two seasons left, so the show won’t actually be over until sometime next year. In September, she said, quote, “We’re starting to think about how to wrap up the storylines of these particular young women.” Get more here.

Bristol Palin’s Ex-Fiance Says He’s Her Baby’s Father, Fights for Custody

Bristol’s ex-fiancé, Dakota Meyer, wants joint custody of newborn Sailor Grace. But in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sarah Palin said that he’s just trying to save face: “For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol’s pregnancy or the baby.”  Now he’s claiming to be the biological father and is also asking that Bristol pay him child support. In case you missed it, Bristol announced her pregnancy one month after canceling her wedding to Meyer, but never publicly spoke about her child’s father. Rumor was that the split was over the face that he wasn’t the father. But then he shared a photo of Sailor with the caption: “Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn’t be more proud of this little blessing.” Get more here.

Sylvester Stallone is Done Playing Rambo

“Rambo 5” isn’t happening after all, because Sylvester Stallone is done with the character. He told “Variety”, quote, “The heart’s willing, but the body says, ‘Stay home!’ It’s like fighters that go back for one last round and get clobbered. Leave it to someone else.” (But isn’t that the plot of every single Rocky movie? A fighter who shouldn’t keep going, but does, and wins???) Fox is developing a TV series about Rambo’s son, but Stallone has nothing to do with it. And he isn’t expecting much from it. He says, quote, “It’s delicate to try to replace a character with his son. I’ve seen the son of Flicka, the son of Tarzan, the son of King Kong, the son of Godzilla. It’s a very difficult premise.” There is going to be a sequel to “Creed”, though. They even have a few ideas for the plot. One kind of mirrors “Rocky 4”, with Adonis Creed going up against a, quote, “more ferocious, big Russian.” The other is a “Godfather 2”-style plot that flashes back to before Apollo Creed’s death.
