Sony Pictures Caves to More Hacker Demands Wipes ‘Interview’ From Social Media

Sony quietly gave in to another hacker demand by wiping almost all traces of “The Interview” from its social media pages. Hackers threatened top level Sony execs Friday saying, “We want everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately.”  The movie’s Twitter page no longer has any tweets, the Facebook page has been deleted and all “Interview” footage has been wiped from its YouTube page. Sir Elton John and David Furnish Got Married

Elton John and his longtime partner David Furnish are finally going all the way.  That’s right, they got  married this weekend.  They’ve had a civil partnership since 2005, but gay marriage just became legal in Britain in March, so now they’re making it happen. Elton and David have been together since 1993, and they have two sons:  Zachary, who’ll be four on Christmas Day, and Elijah, who’ll be two next month. Get the full story here.

Michael Phelps pleads guilty to DUI

Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps avoided jail time on Friday when a judge placed him on probation for pleading guilty to a drunken driving charge for the second time in 10 years.  “You don’t need a lecture from the court,” Baltimore District Judge Nathan Braverman told Phelps. “If you haven’t gotten the message by now, or forget the message, the only option is jail.” Probation allows the most decorated Olympian ever to focus on training for the 2016 Games in Rio De Janeiro, which would be his fifth. Hackers Threaten to Release Iggy Azalea’s Alleged Sex Tape If She Doesn’t Apologize to Azealia Banks

A mysterious Twitter handle named @TheAnonMessage has threatened to release still images from an alleged sex tape involving Iggy Azalea unless she publicly apologizes toAzealia Banks and the protesters of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. “MESSAGE: @IGGYAZALEA, you have exactly 48 hours from now to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC…” one of the tweets captured byVulture read. “You are guilty of misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of Eric Garner’s death. @IGGYAZALEA” The account has since been suspended by Twitter. Amanda Bynes Wants to Transfer to USC

David Schwimmer Will Play Robert Kardashian In O.J. Simpson Miniseries

David Schwimmer is the latest actor to join “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” the first season of the upcoming series that will follow Simpson’s 1995 murder trial. The “Friends” alum will portray Robert Kardashian, Simpson’s friend and lawyer during the case. The 10-episode first season will star Cuba Gooding Jr. as the former football player and Sarah Paulson as head prosecutor Marcia Clark. Get the full story here.
