Lauren Conrad Accused of Stealing Copyrighted Photos
Lauren Conrad has been sued by Incredible Features Inc. for “stealing” two pictures of surfing dogs. The site says she used them on her website, for profit. Conrad used them on a Blog entry, which would normally be covered under “Fair Use” but the site says her website is a “commercial enterprise through which Conrad shills her Kohl’s clothing line amongst other things.” Saying “In the dog eat dog world of online content … Lauren Conrad, a sophisticated website operator, is cognizant of the value of high-quality photography.” But since the blog entry wasn’t specifically selling anything, the case has a good chance of being thrown out. Wiz Khalifa is Releasing His Own Strain of Marijuana Called Khalifa Kush
Wiz is very vocal about his support for marijuana legalization, and now he’s partnered with Colorado-based RiverRock Cannabis, to create his own line of marijuana strains, and accessories. “These products have taken years to perfect,” Wiz says. “I’m really excited to finally share them with the public and to work with RiverRock to raise awareness and end cannabis prohibition nationwide.” Get more here.
