Ryan Reynolds Spoofed Kanye West’s “SNL” Rant as Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds has responded to the online petition that’s calling for him to host “Saturday Night Live” as Deadpool. But it definitely wasn’t a standard yes or no. He posted a video called ‘Why Deadpool Won’t Be Hosting,’ where he gets in character and spoofs Kanye West’s recent profanity-laced meltdown the one where he said he was 50% more influential than a bunch of influential people. In the spoof, Deadpool says, quote, “I’ve got the biggest opening ‘rated-R’ movie of all time. Are they [effing] crazy? I’m 50% more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the Kia Sorrento . . . 10% more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart . . . 60% more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese, and Dr. Ruth . . . 7% less influential than the Urban Dictionary . . .Don’t [eff] with me! Dead or alive, 3% more than Wolverine.”

Kesha Lost Her Lawsuit Against Dr. Luke, But a Bunch of Female Singers Have Her Back

Kesha cried in court on Friday, after a judge refused to let her out of her six-album record deal with Sony. For two years, she’s been trying to get away from Dr. Luke. He’s her former mentor, and a bigtime producer at Sony. She claims he’s abused her “sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally” for about a decade. In fact, she says he drugged and raped her shortly after her 18th birthday in 2005. That was five years before they finally put out her debut album, “Animal”. He also produced her second album “Warrior” in 2012. The judge felt that Kesha didn’t provide enough proof of Dr. Luke’s abuse, and noted that Sony is not forcing her to work with him although Kesha thinks that they won’t promote her music unless she does. In any event, a lot of female artists are showing support for her on social media, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Kelly Clarkson, JoJo, and Lorde. Demi Lovato Tweeted out a long rant about how she felt Kesha’s bravery in coming forward about the abuse was disrespected. And Taylor Swift sent her $250,000, just to help her out. Get more here.

Shia LaBeouf Slapped a Guy in an Elevator, But Only Because the Guy Asked Him To

Shia LaBeouf slapped a guy in an elevator over the weekend, but the guy asked for it. Literally. Shia was doing one of his silly “performance art” things, where he spent 24 hours hanging out in an elevator at Oxford University in London. And at one point, another performance artist came in and asked Shia to punch him in the face. Shia did not want to do it, but the guy pleaded, and even called Shia names. So he finally agreed to slap him. And he didn’t do it very hard. There’s video, but the actual slap happened behind the closed elevator doors, so you can only hear it. After Shia’s “project” was over, he gave a speech about it. He said some people ordered pizza for him, and one guy showed him his package. Get more here.
