The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

At the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night, Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”) and Julianne Moore (“Still Alice”) won for best lead actor and actress, respectively; J.K. Simmons (“Whiplash”) and Patricia Arquette (“Boyhood”) took home the supporting prizes. Netflix had a big night as “Orange is the New Black” won for best comedy ensemble (and Uzo Aduba won the supporting actress category). Miss Colombia crowned Miss Universe

On Sunday night in Miami, Paulina Vega — the 22-year-old student of business administration better known as Miss Colombia — was crowned Miss Universe. “It will be a dream come true to represent the woman of today,” Vega told the Associated Press last week. “A woman that not only cares about being beautiful and being glamorous, but also cares about being a professional, intelligent, hard-working person.” But Vega’s victory may have proved Pyrrhic after the conclusion of the Miss Universe pageant Sunday, when boos erupted as Kaci Fennell — the 22-year-old model otherwise known as Miss Jamaica — was declared fourth-runner up. The consensus on social media: Fennell was robbed of the title.

‘Full House’ Cast Reunites, Performs the Theme Song

“We’ve said no to every sort of reunion,” Stamos said at the time. “Lately there’s one that we sort of are gravitating towards. It’s not a complete reunion, but a twist. If we can get it done right … then we will do it.” But until there is a TV reunion in place, the cast gave Full House fans a big treat, performing the theme song “Everywhere You Look” at Franklin’s birthday bash. Proving they still know all the words, check out this Instagram from Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

Watch Kanye West Refuse to Sign a Picture of Kim Kardashian from Her Last Wedding

There was a time when Kanye West would have gone nuclear on a guy over this, so the fact that he could just smile and walk away is an improvement: Kanye and Kim Kardashian were walking through the airport in Washington, D.C. yesterday when a man tried to get him to sign a wedding picture of Kim. But Kanye refused, because it was a picture from Kim’s second wedding, to Kris Hunphries. Richard Simmons Cops Make a Welfare Visit After Elder Abuse Claim

Two LAPD officers showed up to Simmons’ Hollywood Hills home where Richard answered the door and showed them in. The cops’ say he couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious. They say he was articulate, lucid, relaxed and appreciative of their concern. Law enforcement sources told TMZ the visit was triggered by a long-time friend of Simmons who sent an email to the L.A. County D.A.’s Elder Abuse Unit last month and said he believed the 66-year-old fitness guru was being abused. Simmons was walking with a slight limp, which is consistent with the knee injury. Chris Brown a Victim of Identity Theft?

When Chris was jailed for leaving rehab back in April and taken across the country to Washington D.C. for his hearing on assault charges, one of his first stops was San Bernardino County Jail.  Chris was only there for a day or so, but procedure required a jail ID. When Chris left, his ID was left with the jailers. Fast forward to this week, when someone tried to sell the ID online for $10,000. Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, got wind of it and went to the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Dept. who launched an investigation and traced the ID to someone in the area. We’ve learned cops seized the ID and grilled the guy, who insists he got the ID from a friend who got it from a friend.  Get the full story here.
