Nick Jonas Headlines Bat Mitzvah
Nick Jonas was the “special guest” at a bat mitzvah for a girl named Jillian in New York last weekend. It was a “Paris-themed” party, and Nick was hired to sing three songs, including “Jealous”. Jillian got to perform with him, but she looked nervous, and stayed on the other end of the stage. One shrieking girl in the audience didn’t think Jillian was making the most of this experience, so she stormed the stage, and gave Nick several hugs. By the way, Nick didn’t come cheap. NBC’s Brian Williams Admits He Was Never On Helicopter Forced Down In Iraq
“NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams said Wednesday that he had not been aboard a helicopter that was struck and forced down in Iraq in 2003, as he has previously claimed. Williams recanted his original story to Star and Stripes, telling the military paper that he doesn’t know “what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another.” Crew members who were present at the time told Stars and Stripes that Williams was not on the aircraft that was hit, but instead flew in on another helicopter roughly an hour later. Flight engineer Lance Reynolds said being hit “felt like a personal experience that someone else wanted to participate in and didn’t deserve to participate in.” Get the full story here.

The 51-year-old actor and the 28-year-old actress are married, E! News confirms; the happy news comes just a few days before they were expected to wed this weekend. Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper, and longtime USC fan, Snoop Dogg, may have what it takes to convert his father’s fandom to the Trojans’ crosstown rivals. “I feel that UCLA is the best fit for me,” Broadus said during his announcement on ESPNU. “I had the offer since my nine-grade year, so I had a great connection with the coaches. I just want to play in front of my family and keep ballin’ out on the field and get a great degree.”His recruitment has been the subject of a five-part documentary series on ESPN called “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream.” His father even sported a true blue and gold Bruins jersey during the announcement. “It’s been awesome just watching him step into manhood and make a decision that he’s comfortable with,” Snoop Dogg said. A source says, quote, “Inside, he has always been Belinda.” Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com says Kim Kardashian was in on Bruce’s secret before anyone else, because she once caught him stealing her lingerie.
