The Oscars Biggest Moments
“Birdman” was the big winner at last night’s Oscars. It took home four Oscars: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Cinematography. Michael Keaton lost the Best Actor award to Eddie Redmayne, who played Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything”. Meanwhile, Julianne Moore took Best Actress for “Still Alice”, which is a movie about Alzheimer’s disease. J.K. Simmons won Best Supporting Actor for “Whiplash”, and Patricia Arquette won Best Supporting Actress for “Boyhood”. Her speech demanding equal pay for women brought Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez to their feet.
Lady Gaga’s tribute to “The Sound of Music”. She absolutely crushed it, which is not surprising, because Gaga is that rare breed of pop tramp who can actually sing. Julie Andrews was there, and she loved it.

Neil Patrick Harris started off the show with a joke about the lack of color at the Oscars. He said, quote, “Tonight we honor Hollywood’s best and WHITEST . . . sorry, brightest, he also showed up on stage wearing only his tighty-whities, like Michael Keaton in “Birdman”. Overall, the consensus is that he was probably just ‘okay’ as a host, some things worked, some things didn’t.

Leonardo DiCaprio Threw Rihanna a 27th Birthday Party
Rihanna had a huge party Friday night for her 27th birthday, and sources say her alleged boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio helped put it on. It was held at a private home in Beverly Hills and lasted until 4:00 A.M. the next morning. Guests included Naomi Campbell, Mick Jagger, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Russell Simmons. Calvin Harris Will Suing Over Leaked Nudes
According to a report, the DJ has some nude pics and videos that are being shopped around to both porn and media outlets, so Calvin is putting a stop to it by hiring a lawyer. The images are of Mr. Harris with various different women, as he hams it up for the camera. It’s awful that his personal moments have been exposed, and hopefully his legal team stops this in time. The Razzies: Cameron Diaz, Kirk Cameron named worst actors of 2014
Diaz earned the title for her performances in the raunchy comedies “The Other Woman” , and “Sex Tape”. Kirk Cameron, meanwhile, picked up the award for “Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas,” a widely-derided and somewhat self-explanatory faith-based comedy, which also won Worst Picture, Worst Screen Combo and Worst Screenplay. Michael Phelps Is Engaged to Nicole Johnson
Olympian Michael Phelps proposed to his girlfriend Nicole Johnson on Saturday, Feb. 21. The professional swimmer, 29, Instagrammed a photo frolicking in the snow with his new fiancee. The couple has been in an on-again, off-again relationship for years. Johnson first dated the athlete in 2011 when he was competing in the FINA World Championships.
