Madame Tussauds Now Has A “Tissue Attendant” For Their One Direction Sculptures
Zayn Malik’s departure from One Direction may not have opened up a position within the group, but it has created an interesting job at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. Apparently, the pubescent freak-out over Zayn’s departure is causing fans to become so upset when they see his wax statue in the One Direction exhibit, that they’ve had to have a “tissue attendant” on-hand to dry their tears. They’ve actually done this before. They say they had to have someone deploying tissues two years ago when the exhibit first opened. David Duchovny Is Releasing A Solo Album Called ‘Come Hell Or Highwater’
It was announced today that David Duchovny’s solo album Hell Or Highwater will be coming out on May 12, but in the meantime you can download the title track on iTunes, and preorder the album on both iTunes and Amazon. The official single release will be on March 31st. Based on the snippets that have made it online, it sounds bluesy and soulful. David said “Making this record is a dream come true, but I never had this dream – it’s still a shock when I think about how all this music happened,” Duchovny said in a statement. “What I do know is that I feel these songs represent the truest expression that I’ve ever been able to achieve and I look forward to sharing it with everyone.” Get the full story here.
Someone Threw a Banana Peel at Dave Chappelle During a Show
Someone hit Dave Chappelle in the leg with a banana peel Monday night during a show in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It all started when Chappelle saw a man in the audience drawing something on a piece of paper, and started cracking on him. The guy’s friend, 30-year-old Christian Englander, felt that Dave was being racist, so he threw the peel. At first Chappelle didn’t know who threw it. He said, quote, “When you find that mother[effer], do not throw him out. Bring him to me. First I’m gonna kill him with my comedy, and then I’m gonna kick him in his [effin’] face. By the way, these are empty threats.” He added, quote, “I can’t believe not only that somebody threw a banana onstage . . . Tara Reid Gets Wasted with a Stranger and He Tattoos Her Name on Him
Tara Reid accompanied a total stranger to a Hollywood tattoo parlor so he could get her name tattooed on his arm, but luckily for Tara, she wasn’t drunk enough to return the favor. Reid and this guy met on a flight back from Ultra in Miami, and clearly they both enjoyed a few cocktails along the way. We figured out the guy is DJ Crichy Crich, and for some reason he and Tara thought it was a good idea to go straight from the airport to the tattoo parlor. Jose Canseco’s 18-Year-Old Daughter Busted for DUI
Jose Canseco’s model daughter was recently busted for DUI. Law enforcement sources told TMZ Josie Canseco was pulled over around 1 AM in the heart of Hollywood after cops observed her hitting a curb. The 18-year-old ,who’s appeared on mom Jessica’s reality show, was given field sobriety tests, which she didn’t pass, and was subsequently arrested. Sources say cops didn’t think Canseco was under the influence of alcohol, they believe it was drugs. Canseco was booked around 6:15 AM and, is still locked up on $15,000 bail. ‘Dance Moms’ Star Abby Lee Miller Taking Show to LA
“Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller is bringing her east coast, in-your-face style to the west coast, she’s setting up shop in L.A. Now L.A. moms and their daughters can stand in a long line for a chance to be abused on the show. Miller is opening up a branch of her dance studio in Santa Monica, which will be known as Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles or ALDC LA. Apparently Miller is renting an apartment nearby.
