Christina Aguilara’s Duet with Whitney Houston’s Hologram Cancelled, But was Leaked Anyway

The season finale of “The Voice” goes down Monday night, and one of the highlights was going to be a duet between Christina Aguilara and hologram Whitney Houston. It was supposed to be a surprise, but some footage found its way online yesterday, showing Christina and Hologram Whitney singing a medley of Whitney’s hits.  But don’t worry, we didn’t just spoil it for you, because it’s not actually happening. Whitney’s people pulled the plug on this a few days ago, because they didn’t like Hologram Whitney. Whitney’s sister Pat Houston said, quote, “Whitney’s legacy and her devoted fans deserve perfection. After closely viewing the performance, we decided the hologram was not ready to air. “We have much respect and appreciation for Christina, and she was absolutely flawless.” Get more here.

People Are Stealing Kylie Jenner Lip Kits Before They’re Even Delivered

Customers are livid after hundreds of them opened up their expensive Kylie Jenner Lip Kit, only to find an empty box. Where did we get this info? The Better Business Bureau, they say the packaging is highly recognizable, leading people to steal the ridiculously overpriced kit. It could be happening both en route, and on doorsteps. So far Kylie has not commented, but the BBB suggests they make the packaging less recognizable to discourage thieves. Get more here.


 

Morley Safer from “60 Minutes” Has Died

Morley Safer’s passed away at his Manhattan home, at the age of 84. Safer just retired from “60 Minutes” last week, after 46 seasons. He said, quote, “It’s been a wonderful run, but the time has come to say goodbye to all of my friends at CBS and the dozens of people who kept me on the air.” A “60 Minutes” producer said Safer’s health had been deteriorating for several months, and he knew it wouldn’t be long. But he had hoped to live long enough to see the CBS special dedicated to him this past Sunday. So, bonus? Safer started with CBS in 1964. At “60 Minutes”, he filed more than 900 reports, and won a ton of awards, including 12 Emmys and three Peabody Awards. Broadcasters around the globe tweeted about his legacy. Get more here.
