Does Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Steal from an Indie Pop Singer?
There’s an indie pop singer named Casey Dienel who performs under the name White Hinterland, and she has a song called “Ring the Bell” that sounds a LOT like Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”. It came out in 2014, a year before “Sorry”. So she’s suing Justin along with Skrillex, who produced the track. She says they jacked an eight second vocal loop of hers, which is repeated six times in “Sorry”. She first asked Justin to stop using the sample back in December, but he ignored her. Kylie Jenner Wants $2 Million Back from Tyga
Kylie Jenner gave Tyga more than her love while they were dating. She also floated him $2 million. And now she wants it back. A source said, quote, “She’d been bankrolling him for well over a year and she’s finding herself short on cash as a result.” She paid a bunch of legal bills and also helped pay for his latest album, which flopped. Whether she gets it back or not remains to be seen. The source said, quote, “He was shocked when she asked to be paid, telling her he thought the money was a gift, not a loan.” Get more here.
Khloe Kardashian Filed for Divorce from Lamar Odom Again
Khloe called off the divorce after Lamar’s overdose in a Nevada brothel. She called it off to take care of him, and promised that when he was better, the divorce would proceed. Many people doubted that, but she’s proved them wrong. Now that Lamar has mostly recovered, and is drinking again. Khloe is don’t and the paperwork has been filed again. This may be the most well thought out divorce in history. Two years ago Gwyn and Chris announced they would be dissolving their marriage.
