An Australian Artist Painted a Mural Proclaiming “The Death of Taylor Smith”
An artist in Melbourne has weighed in on the Kim Vs. Taylor feud via street art. The artist is Lushsux, and no, he’s not stupid, he knows Taylor’s last name is Swift. He told Buzzfeed that he only used Smith to avoid getting sued. But that might not save him from a defamation lawsuit, because of the obvious likeness to Taylor.

He’s obviously a very talented artist. The bottom of the mural features the quote “No tags please, respect the dead.” But yesterday the mural was “defaced.” Lushsux himself painted over Taylor’s name and face, changing the caption to “In loving memory of Harambe.” Harambe was the name of the gorilla that was shot by zoo keepers in order to save a child who had fallen into his enclosure.

Selena Gomez’s Social Media Posts Are Worth $550,000 Each
A lot of celebrities have accumulated huge audiences on social media, so companies are willing to pay big bucks to have them plug products in their posts, especially the stars with the most followers. According to research by D’Marie Analytics, Selena Gomez is the biggest catch right now, with the going rate being $550,000 per post across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Selena has a total of 180.8 million followers on those three. That’s $300,000 more than her posts were worth about a year ago. And let’s not forget, a product placement post she did for Coke a few weeks ago recently became the most-liked picture on Instagram.
Kendall Jenner is currently the second-most influential person on social media, although they didn’t say how much her posts would be worth. Kylie Jenner is third, followed by Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus. After that, there are several companies like Forever 21, Nike, and Victoria’s Secret, although it’d probably be harder to get them to promote another brand. Get more here.

Shannen Doherty has taken a lot of crap over the years, and she’s deserved about 97.5% of it. Yesterday, she posted a series of black and white pictures on Instagram where she’s getting her head shaved. Her mother is in some of them, along with a friend who actually did the shaving.
Before that, she posted a picture of a cupcake pan, a box of chocolates, and an electric shaver, with the hashtags “Cancer sucks” and “Thank God for friends.” Sarah Michelle Gellar was so inspired, she posted one of the pictures on her own Instagram, and said, quote, “It already takes a strong woman to fight breast cancer, but it takes an even stronger woman to share that journey.” Shannen revealed her diagnosis about a year ago.
